Launch record

Every launch, wallet by wallet

When a new token opens on SimpleDEX, only its creator can buy for the first 60 seconds. The first block after that window is the first legal block. Guard.IAN's wallets aim for it. So do the bots.

This page lists each launch Guard.IAN has taken part in, read from the chain: how many of his wallets got into that block, and where they sat in it.

⚠
Test sizes. Each wallet now buys 0.01 XPR. GONDOR and LFQP were 1 XPR. Only IAN, the first launch, used real money: the one wallet that made the first block bought 1,000 XPR. The size stays at 0.01 XPR until he passes the test below.

The test he has to pass

All of his wallets in the top 10 of the first legal block. One launch of eight has passed so far: LFQP.

TokenHis wallets in the first legal blockTheir places in that blockTop-10 test

LFQP 4655 of 5 (1 XPR)3, 5, 6, 8, 9 of 11PASS
STANLEY 4660 of 7 (the launch watcher was being rebuilt)—FAIL
SUNGF 4670 (the fleet was not running: the old code was retired on 24 September and the rebuilt watcher started after this launch)—FAIL
STAR 4681 of 7 (0.01 XPR)9th of 9FAIL
XOXO 4697 of 7 (0.01 XPR)6 to 12 of 13FAIL
KWYS 4707 of 7 (0.01 XPR)1, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11 of 13 (block 406341837)FAIL by one place

The number after each token is its SimpleDEX token number. Positions are counted inside the first legal block, from the chain. At GONDOR and LFQP the fleet was five wallets; from STANLEY on it is seven.

What changed along the way

  • XOXO and KWYS ran on the new sender timing. Both times all seven wallets got into the first legal block. At KWYS one of them was first in the block.
  • 2 October: a further fix to how the buys are sent went live. On the SimpleDEX testnet it put 5 of 5 test wallets in the first legal block (token 15, block 408825337). The next mainnet launch is its test.

The launch fleet

Seven wallets, all public, so anyone can check what they do. They buy at the first legal block, hold, and when the token graduates they claim, pair into the pool, and send the leftovers to the holding wallet. They never sell a community token and never pull liquidity.

Why seven: in the first minutes of a SimpleDEX launch each transaction can buy at most 5,000 XPR. The bots that take the first block use many wallets; so does he, in the open.

Who else is in that block

Since 3 March, 3,213 buys have landed in a first legal block. 3,191 of them, 99.3%, came from 32 wallets. His seven are not counted in those numbers.

How many people run those 32 wallets cannot be proven from the chain. We describe what the blocks show and name no one.

How the timing works

  • The contract checks the block's timestamp, not the clock.
  • The block stamped 60 seconds after creation starts being built about half a second early. That is why buys sent at about 59.5 seconds are legal.
  • A buy that arrives before that block opens is refused and dropped, not queued.
  • 21 block producers in the active schedule make the blocks, one every half second.

Check it yourself

Every row comes from the chain. Look up a token, a block or a wallet on the XPR Network explorer. If you find a mistake, tell us.
